T. Orlando Person

T. Orlando Pearson is Of Counsel to Denmark Ashby Matricardi LLC. Although supporting all aspects of the Firm’s Litigation Practice, Orlando is also developing other practice areas, including, but not limited to, labor and employment, domestic relations, and complex civil litigation. Orlando is a results-oriented attorney, who brings twenty years of experience practicing law in Georgia.

Before joining the Firm, Orlando served as a litigator in multiple firms throughout the State of Georgia, where Orlando gained experience in local government, labor and employment, and financial services. Additionally, Orlando has also served as a Federal Law Clerk in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia and a Senior Staff Attorney in the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, where Orlando honed significant legal research and writing skills while gaining expertise in civil and courtroom procedure. Notably, Orlando’s experience includes work on significant matters, including litigation related to the 2014 bond validation proceedings for the Mercedes Benz Stadium project.

Moreover, Orlando exhibits a commitment to community service and leadership, including, but not limited to, Leadership Savannah, Leadership DeKalb, and the State Bar of Georgia Leadership Academy. Additionally, Orlando served in various leadership positions, including, but not limited to, Committee Member of the State Bar of Georgia’s B.A.S.I.C.S. Committee, Board Director of Urban Hope, Secretary and Board Director of the DeKalb Symphony Orchestra and Board Director of the Salem Crossing Homeowner’s Association. Additionally, Orlando has organized and presented at State Bar CLEs, as well as taught at Georgia State University. Growing up in Metro Atlanta, Orlando graduated from Chamblee Magnet High School. Thereafter, Orlando graduated with high honor from the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Georgia School of Law. Outside of practicing law, Orlando pursues passion for cooking, traveling, Atlanta sports, and CrossFit.
