Paul J. Dzikowski

Paul J. Dzikowski is a Senior Attorney with Denmark Ashby Matricardi LLC whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation, municipal law, commercial disputes, land use, zoning, and regulatory matters. He represents governmental entities and private clients in state and federal courts while also advising clients on the legal and regulatory issues that impact public projects, municipal operations, and economic development.

Mr. Dzikowski has extensive litigation experience representing clients in commercial, zoning, construction, and regulatory disputes. His practice extends beyond the courtroom, providing strategic counsel on public works contracts, zoning and land-use permitting, municipal regulations, licensing, code enforcement, and regulatory compliance. His ability to combine litigation experience with practical legal guidance allows clients to proactively manage legal risks while advancing their operational objectives.

Mr. Dzikowski also has significant experience representing municipalities and public officials in matters involving personal injury claims, wrongful arrest, and claims brought under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and the Americans with Disabilities Act. His municipal practice includes drafting and amending municipal ordinances, advising on licensing and permitting matters, and representing local governments in administrative enforcement proceedings.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Dzikowski served as an Assistant District Attorney in South Georgia and as a Special Assistant Solicitor for a metropolitan Atlanta county, where he prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases in state and municipal courts. During his prosecutorial service, he also developed procedural guidelines for a court’s Pretrial Diversion Program, demonstrating his commitment to improving the administration of justice and the efficient operation of the court system.
