Wallace Washington

Wallace D. Washington is a Senior Attorney with Denmark Ashby Matricardi LLC whose practice focuses on civil litigation, municipal law, real estate, zoning and land use, and property-related disputes. Throughout his career, Mr. Washington has represented clients in a broad range of litigation matters while providing practical legal counsel to governmental entities, businesses, and property owners navigating complex legal and regulatory issues.

Mr. Washington began his legal career in Atlanta, where he developed a strong litigation foundation representing clients in criminal defense, family law, personal injury, and general civil litigation. His early experience with several respected law firms provided extensive courtroom exposure and established the advocacy skills that continue to define his practice today.

In 2000, Mr. Washington relocated to Houston, Texas, where he provided litigation support on complex legal matters involving Enron. He later transitioned into commercial real estate, assisting with acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects for Crown Castle International, one of the nation’s leading telecommunications infrastructure companies. His work over more than a decade in Houston and Tampa expanded his experience in commercial real estate transactions, telecommunications infrastructure, and largescale development projects.

Upon returning to Atlanta, Mr. Washington renewed his focus on litigation and local government representation. He advised the City of Atlanta Law Department, Real Estate Division, providing legal counsel to city departments and elected officials on matters involving real estate, telecommunications, zoning, land use, and municipal development. This experience strengthened his understanding of the legal and operational challenges facing local governments and further enhanced his ability to provide practical, solution-oriented legal advice.
